Abstract
The objective of this study is to determine the student suicide phenomenon
in SMPN 1 Prambanan, including causes, attempt, behaviour before and after
suicide attempt. The method of this study is a case study. There were three students who participated
as subjects of the study. The result shows that suicide attempt can be caused by several external
factors including broken home, poverty,
being isolated from friends and broken heart. The internal factors are feeling confuse, under
pressure, hopeless, stress, and personality.
